Prepaid Forms
Your account credit, designated for prepaid forms, is protected and will not be used for these fees under normal circumstances. However, if the total accrued inactivity fees ever meet or exceed the value of your credit, the entire credit balance will be applied to settle a portion of the debt. At this point, your account will have a zero balance, and the two-year period for permanent deletion of your client information will begin. To reactivate your account before deletion, you must pay all outstanding inactivity fees and the applicable reactivation fee.
For example:
- An account with a $50 credit expires in January.
- By November, the accrued fees (~$49.50 for 10 months) are still less than the credit. The credit remains untouched.
- In December, the 11th-month fee accrues, making the total ~$54.45. This now exceeds the $50 credit.
- The $50 credit is automatically applied, and the account is considered to have a zero balance. The two-year countdown for data deletion begins from this point.
