George is the creator of the Form 8621 Calculator software and the founder behind its continued development and innovation. With more than 30 years of programming experience and extensive knowledge of international taxation, he is widely recognized as a leading expert on PFIC compliance.

His in-depth study of Internal Revenue Code sections 1291–1298, combined with his engineering expertise, has resulted in the Form 8621 Calculator becoming one of the most advanced and trusted solutions in the tax software industry.

Originally from Hungary and now based in Toronto, Canada, George oversees the platform’s architecture, strategy, and ongoing development while continuing to guide its technical direction and evolution.

Bob has been a leader in tax preparation services for his entire career. As a dual US Canadian citizen and former Senior Executive for the largest tax preparation firm in North America, he possesses an unparalleled knowledge and understanding of this highly specialized industry that spans single owner operator offices to large multinational accounting firms. His talent and insight makes him invaluable in providing strategic direction and assistance with the product launches for Expat Tax Tools.

Bob lives in Virginia Beach and has competed nationally in the sport of sprint triathlons.

Barry has been with Expat Tax Tools since its inception, bringing a creative and distinctly non-tax perspective to the team. A skilled designer, he leads the development of our branding and marketing materials, while also overseeing invoicing and licensing for the Form 8621 Calculator. His attention to detail and eye for visual clarity help ensure our communications are both professional and engaging.

An accomplished artist, Barry spent many years painting landscapes and has recently transitioned into abstract work. His artistic background brings a unique and thoughtful approach to everything he does.

Brigitta is based in Hungary and brings over 15 years of experience in taxation, including a decade with a multinational firm. A registered Chartered Accountant in Hungary, she also has a strong background in both HU GAAP and US GAAP. Always seeking growth and new challenges, Brigitta has spent the past three years preparing Form 8621 filings with Expat Tax Tools, expanding her expertise in international tax compliance.

A passionate traveler, Brigitta enjoys exploring the world both professionally and personally. Receiving form requests from places she’s visited adds a unique, personal connection to her work.

Anett brings a strong background in hospitality and client service to the team, combining professionalism with a warm, approachable manner. Originally from Hungary and now living in New Zealand, she plays a key role in overseeing invoicing and helping to set up new jobs, supporting the team with calm efficiency and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Anett is an active volunteer at the local SPCA, reflecting her deep love for animals. She also enjoys painting, photography, and spending time immersed in anything animal-related — passions that bring creativity and compassion into everything she does.

Aaron serves as the Office Manager at Expat Tax Tools, keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently while also supporting marketing initiatives and internal research efforts. With a strong organizational mindset and a calm, solutions-focused approach, he coordinates internal processes, contributes to strategic planning, and helps ensure the office functions as a reliable backbone for the entire organization. His attention to detail and reliability make him a key part of keeping projects on track, insights organized, and teams fully supported.

Outside of work, Aaron values structure, consistency, and personal growth—but balances that with a love of cats and a deep appreciation for artistic expression. Whether through creative outlets or bringing warmth and personality into the workplace, he brings a steady, dependable presence to everything he does, helping create a professional, positive, and human-centered environment across the company.

Nolan Smith is a Full Stack Developer based in Toronto and a key member of the Engineering Team. He plays an active role in developing and maintaining the platform, working closely on both front-end and back-end systems to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Nolan focuses on solving complex technical challenges and improving the user experience, with a strong attention to detail and performance. As he continues to expand his role, he is taking on increasing responsibility in technical operations and client-facing support.

Outside of software development, Nolan enjoys designing and sewing his own clothing as a creative outlet.

Justin, originally from Hai Phong, Vietnam, is a software developer who enjoys building software and learning how systems work behind the scenes. Known by his Vietnamese name, Nhat Truong Hoang, he contributes to the development efforts at Expat Tax Tools, helping to support the company’s goal of providing reliable and efficient tax solutions.

Now living in Toronto, Canada, Justin is grateful for the opportunity to grow his skills while being part of a collaborative and dedicated team.
